A community owned traditional village pub in the heart of the Somerset Levels.
We are a free house offering a range of draught beers, wines and spirits along with good wholesome food prepared in our own kitchen.

OUR GARDEN
Our garden, lovingly tended by volunteers, offers the chance to enjoy a drink or meal outside. we offer ample seating with shade or sun whichever you prefer
A COSY FIRE (OR TWO)
For those chilly autumn and winter evenings we have two wood burners, one on each level of the interior so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer and maybe treat yourself to supper in a warm cosy atmosphere.
SKITTLES
Traditional pub skittles is alive and well in Somerset, The Royal Oak currently has three home teams. Our skittle alley is available to all except when there is a match on, so if you haven't tried skittles then why not give it a try or book a skittles night for friends and family.
MUSIC AND QUIZZES
We currently run a monthly open mic night on the fourth Thursday of each month and a monthly quiz night on a Wednesday, please click on the Facebook link below for up to date details of what's on at The Royal Oak.
QUALITY DRINKS
We offer a range of mainly local beers, lagers and ciders all well cared for by Phil our bar manager, alongside a wide range of wines, spirits and soft drinks.
CLASSIC PUB MEALS
Our chef Jenna, will be cooking up seasonal and classic pub meals with locally sourced ingredients where possible, which will be available Wednesday - Saturday evenings from 6.00pm until 9.00pm.
We will be serving a choice of roasts on Sundays from 12.00 until 2.30pm
