Dec 2025 • Great village pub, cafe and shop run almost entirely by volunteers.

I don't know why there aren't many more reviews of this excellent pub, shop and cafe as this quite small village has done wonders in reviving this old pub by all working to raise money and staff it so successfully. Before Christmas they catered for 30 Senior Citizens from our own lunch club in North Curry and provided more than satisfying meals, tasty and more than generous. The pub is a real local with good range of ales. The cafe is open every day. They also do an excellent Wednesday lunch at an attractive price.
